Taking place for the last time at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham this year, PestTech - the largest one-day pest control event in Europe, was yet again a successful one for its sponsor, Russell IPM. On our stand Number 7, visitors could obtain samples of traditional products for the control of rodents and flying insects, as well as various pheromone-enhanced non-toxic pest control solutions. The IT Team demonstrated the company's digital application for rodent control, iPest and its reporting platform for the pest controller, iPest + . The fun competition to guess the number of rats snuggling in our poster was enjoyed by all visitors of our stand. Their guesses and names were entered into a prize draw competition for a chance to win a bag of Russell IPM product samples. The four lucky winners with correct guesses are: Charles Harvey from Ace Pest Control, Mark Tilley from A2Z Pestcontrol, John Hankins, who provides pest control services to the Ministry of Defense and Ian Tudor from ACD Pest Control Specialists. Congratulations to all winners, who will be receiving their branded bags of Russell IPM goods next week.
Last but not least, the efforts of Russell IPM in raising money on behalf of the Siaya Kenya Children's Foundation on the stand this year have paid off. Thanks to everybody's contributions, Ms Caroline Oluoko, Accounts Manager of the Foundation, is now able to purchase textbooks for the entire school year for children supported by her work. The name of everyone who donated to the Siaya Foundation and bought raffles tickets were entered into a random draw for a chance to win a hamper of luxury food and drink items. The lucky winner of the hamper is Mr. Roy Fencott from Pest Control Team Midlands, Shropshire. Congratulations, Roy!
